Voergaard Castle is one of Denmark ’s most beautiful renaissance buildings dating back to 1589. Renovated and furnished exclusively by its last owner, Count Oberbech-Clausen. Voergaard Castle houses Denmark ’s largest privately-owned collection of art treasures and antiques, including works by Goya, Rubens and Raphael, as well as Napoleon I´s dinner service and valuable Ming vases. Voergaard Castle is not a museum as such, but is open to the public.
